I'm a gear head that started going to races in the mid fifties and began working at them in 1967. I met my wife, Linda, at Laguna Seca and we worked races in California until the mid-seventies when we decided to start a family. I returned to racing in 1997 when I purchased a 1964 GP Spitfire. I campaigned it in both SCCA regionals and nationals through 2006. We ran the Runoffs in 2003 and had a mid-pack finish while suffering electronic problems. While waiting for a new head to arrive from England (6 months) I found and purchased a 2001 Radical Prosport. I have curtailed my racing the last few years, restored the Spitfire to 1966 specs and have raced The Wine Country Historics, Reno Historics and the Coronado Festival of Speed.
